Compliance with the principles and recommendations of COPE, WAME, DORA, and FAIR

The collection "Catalysis and Petrochemistry" supports internationally recognized principles of publication ethics and scientific integrity, in particular, the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).
The journal’s editorial policy states that:
  • manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their scientific quality, originality, methodological soundness, and significance of results;
  • journal metrics (including impact factor, journal h-index, or other quantitative indicators) are not used as a criterion for evaluating individual articles or authors;
  • the editorial board and reviewers encourage meaningful peer review rather than formal metrics-based review;
  • publications recognize the diversity of scientific outcomes, including research data, methods, and negative results;
  • citation of original research rather than review articles is encouraged to give credit to the group(s) that first presented the research results;
  • the collection accepts a variety of scientific results for publication, not just articles.
  The editorial board adheres to WAME recommendations regarding the independence of editorial policy, the responsibility of editors for the quality of publications, ensuring the professional ethics of reviewers, maintaining high standards of scientific communication, and preventing unscrupulous publication practices.
       FAIR Compliance
    The Collection supports the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) for scientific (research) data.
Within the framework of this policy, the journal:
  • encourages authors to ensure the findability of research data by placing them in reliable repositories with permanent identifiers (DOI, Handle);
  • recommends ensuring the accessibility of data with clearly defined access conditions;
  • supports interoperability by using generally accepted data formats, metadata and standards;
  • encourages the reuse of data by providing a description, licenses and links to the original source.
