Peer Review Process

The Collection “Catalysis and Petrochemistry” uses a double blinded peer review procedure, which means that the identities of the reviewer and the author are concealed from other reviewers before, during and after the process of independent review.

All materials submitted to the editorial office are subject to review by members of the editorial board of the Collection or specialists in the relevant field. In case of a negative peer review or the presence of significant comments, the article may be rejected or returned to the author (s) for revision. After the authors make changes in accordance with the comments of the reviewers, the article is accepted for publication.

The editorial board reserves the right not to publish articles that do not correspond to the subject of the Collection, do not contain new experimental and theoretical results, as well as articles that were made in violation of ethical norms (eg conflicts between authors or between authors and organization, plagiarism, etc.).

Failure to comply with the rules of the manuscript is grounds for returning it to the author (s) for revision, correction or reduction.

After reviewing the manuscript is sent to the contact author of the article to make the necessary corrections. After finalizing the article, the authors are obliged to respond to all comments, and together with the corrections (in electronic form) return to the editors. Terms of completion may not exceed 10 days for authors from Ukraine and 1 month for authors from other countries.

After the layout of the accepted article, the proofreading is sent to the responsible author by e-mail for final approval. The author must send his amendments within 3 working days from the date of sending the letter to the editors. If the editorial office does not receive an author's response within the specified period, the article is printed unchanged. After that, no further corrections by the author are possible.
